Afternoon All - Welcome to The Shock of the Now's Guide to Degree Shows 2025!

With the City & Guilds’ Foundation presentation underway, and Slade’s undergraduate show opening next week, I bring you the third annual The Shock of the Now Degree Show special edition! I have compiled comprehensive coverage of this year’s art school degree presentations across foundation, graduate and postgraduate courses, providing details of which courses are showing where and when, preview dates/times, addresses and full opening hours where possible.

In London, this includes degree shows at Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Arts, City & Guilds of London Art School, Goldsmiths, Kingston School of Art, Royal Academy Schools, Royal College of Art, Slade School of Fine Art and Wimbledon College of Arts, as well as alternative education programmes Turps & MASS.

Alongside, for the first time I’ll be covering out-of-London art schools, with listings for Edinburgh College of Art, Falmouth School of Art, UCA Farnham, The Glasgow School of Art, Leeds School of Arts, Manchester School of Art, Newcastle University's School of Arts and Cultures, Norwich University of the Arts, Nottingham School of Art & Design, Ruskin School of Art and University of Brighton’s School of Art and Media.

All information is accurate at time of print, but as is sometimes the case is subject to slight change and further preview evenings are currently TBC, so I recommend keeping an eye on each institution’s own social media/website.

I hope you find this guide helpful (if so do forward it along!), and Enjoy the fruits our freshest and finest art students have to offer over the next few months. As always, questions and comments welcome, so feel free to get in touch, H x
